Two pavilions accommodate an interconnecting array of internal and external spaces providing flexible office facilities for Simpson Construction Co. The zinc striated cement clad pavilions are linked by a lower level communal staff kitchenette and an upper level glazed bridge forming a central courtyard. Laminated cypress pine battens with their patination of light and shade compliment the sheer finishes of the pavilion forms. Photovoltaic power generation and rain harvesting contribute to the offices’ environmentally sustainable character.
