The galvanised steel and recycled brick gymnasium and performing arts centre has been carefully positioned adjacent a traditional red brick classroom block to form a welcoming piazza, an amphitheatre with indoor/outdoor stage and a consolidated sports precinct with the school oval.  Along the street façade galvanised steel portal frames are rhythmically braced by articulated wall ties behind a screen of canopy trees. Automated louvres open up to a bright, multi-purpose sports hall/performance space with music room, foyer, school canteen and supporting facilities. A revolution in how a school community gathers.
