carlton residence

From the refurbished double fronted Victorian terrace, a light filled vista draws one toward the rear extension, under a silhouetted bridge and down a small flight of steps into a light filled double height living space with adjacent landscaped courtyard. This space is the central core of the extension, with a centre of gravity from which the other spaces ebb and flow. A first floor terrace, defined by old stable walls, offers views of a nearby leafy square.
