Set on a 24×5 metre nineteenth century terrace alotment, this project is an essay in spatial dynamics and mechanical opportunity. A dramatic plate steel and glazed stair and bridge system carve through an elongated central void enabling movement through the vista defined and naturally lit space, culminating in a perforated steel floored study and gym nestled high in the two storey dining space. The project integrates mechanical attributes such as a car stacker, a motorized pivoting glazed rear façade and swim jet within the pool in order to optimise every square metre and create a spectacular place to call home.
