The angular canopy of the foyer reaches out inviting the wider community to engage with the parish of St.Alban’s.  A single vivid green fluted column supports the canopy and poses as an initiator for community gathering and as a signifier of entry.  Full height glazing to the street reveals fellowship activities within the lobby space leading to the hall and the church, and also facilitates exhibitions through its shopfront plinth and tensile aerial exhibit system.
